I have 3 spots in my bed floor where its bubbling the paint and rusting out. I called the dealer and there is a TSB to replace the bed with a new one. OMG! Anybody been through this yet?

A 2010 wow! What state are you in and is the rust coming from the underside of the bed or under the paint?

The dealer said its rusting from the inside out. They just did one a few weeks ago full bed rapacement. If you google it you will see a pic of one that was cut open, its like a cavity/space under the bed and support. My two worst spots are in front of the wheel wells and one spot behind the left wheel and all areas are on the bed floor.
There is not a single scratch in my bed or on my truck. Just these three areas where the paint is flaking and showing rust. I only have 31,000 on the truck.
I still need to take it into the dealer for photos and approval from Toyota but there is a TSB on it according to the rep and my dealer.

awww.. how cute.. toyota finally did something about this. My 07 was rusted all the way through and they fought it to the end. I ended up trading in the truck for $2700 more than i paid for it 2 years earlier

if youre under the 3yr/36 they will replace it no problem, but after that its a PITA.. you can clearly see that mine was cracked in the pictures (and even worse in person) and they fought it until i just took it in & traded it off & because my dealer wanted me to buy a new truck they handled it (which i believe resulted in a new bed for that old truck) the warranty for perforation rust through was 5yr/60k or unlimited i don't remember.. either way their customer service on that issue was horrendous, both at the dealer & at toyota corporate

they tried to make me jump through flaming hoops to get it done, i gave up & traded it in, but that was prior to a TSB being out on it, had the TSB been out i would have just parked it & told them to call me when it was replaced. BUT i also put that partly on a shit dealer who wanted to do nothing for me except charge me, hence why i've switched to the other dealer & haven't looked back
