Usually there is a wire that comes down one of the posts and down the back of the seat. I use a fish tape. Then run the wire under the carpet, there is usually a slit already there. Just be sure the seat has full travel without pinching the cable. Power can be had from either the ignition harness or an empty slot in the fuse box.

Jus make sure the monitors have a noise filer on the power and a fuse if grabbing at the ignition or you could get interference.

Stay away from ignition harness. Just tap in to cig lighter for power. Plug sound into aux port in dash and you are ready to go.

Thanks Mac!! This all sounds way too complicated for me though...might take it to a local install shop called Pro Sound. I have searched all over for the install manual and cannot find one though. How do these guys know how to do these types of installs without manuals? I thought for sure that the monitors would come with it....but no!! I will keep searching though...

Post a pic of the connections that are on it and we'll figure it out. The wiring for this cannot be too tough...

I will tomorrow. I am at work right now and don't have the monitors. I read over the manual here at work that came in the box.....and that is when I started this thread cuz it didn't have any true instructions. It basically said this: Remove old headrests and install new ones....and that's it. So you can see where I got irritated.

Hmmm, never had any noise with ignition wires. I can get you wire colors tomorrow AM. What wires are coming out of the monitors, colors? Also would be helpful if you had a digital multi meter or a circuit safe test light.

Mine have a red one and a black one. I have had the manufacturer speak of a yellow one but I don't have that one. I believe one is a ground and one is power. How to get all this working...is a mystery to me. I will go home after work and post some pics tomorrow.

Finally got these installed. We did hook them up to the iginition switch so when I turn my truck off the screens go off as well. After watching these guys put them in....I don't think I would have ever figured it out. DVD monitor is on the passenger side, and they ran the wires under the center console to the driver side. They then connected the RCA cables to link the 2 monitors together. Very nicely done and professional looking. Below are some pics:

Thats because the monitors you were installing probably had a noise filter in. just like the ones he is installing has. In the post above this you can see the little black box noise filter. Most brands have them but some of the less expensive brands do not. Did not know if these had it or not as i have never dealt with T view. The look good in the truck
