Radio locking up

Factory entune radio locking up. 14' CM 1794. Started doing this recently. If you hold the power button in for like 6 seconds it resets and works again. Did I miss a TSB on this issue?

Anybody else?

Yes, POS!!! It will reboot at the WORST time. If you have a navigation address loaded you lose it. Sometimes it will reboot and I can start over, sometimes I have to turn the engine off to get it to respond. I've had it reboot 3 times during a 30 minute period. I am hopeful the instructions posted by @Azblue work! Mine is also a '14, TSB says this is for '16.

14TC #35, White Tundra Club #910,000.1, TXTC #133, Tundra with a cap #132, Tundra Camper's Club #9, VLEDS blue footwell LED's, and interior lights upgraded to blue LED's, Aluminum Filter Cap, G-Tek doorsill protectors, NFab light bar, 2 20" LED bars, Amber Rigid D2's in place of OEM fogs. Next project in line = dip the chrome

I don't recall if it was the exact same TSB, but I had my '14 done over a year ago and it did solve the problem.

ok, dumb question, how do I get that update file on a thumbdrive? When I click it says file not found. Is this something the stealership has to do for me?

Not a dumb question at all and actually I'm glad you asked because I'm not real sure. I work at a dealership so I just download them onto a flash drive right from the link but we are on a secure network connected right to Toyota servers. I just tried at home and I can download it as long as I'm signed in to TIS but if I sign out and try it blocks it. It is covered under warranty if you are within 3 year 36,000 miles or have extended warranty. I usually do it for free for my customers because it takes very little time and I have a hard time justifying charging for it but at the most I would think a dealer should charge would be a half hour labor.

If I take this TSB to the dealership, will they fix it at no charge? I just bought a 14 Limited and it has already locked up 4 or 5 times. It's Toyota Certified but I wasn't sure if it is covered.

I just had my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation covered under the extended MPP warranty and told them about the TSB, they did it for me free.
