Haha. Nah I'm good. I'm going to hold off. They have a 30 day return but it's another $20 for super slow UPS from Seattle shipping. Now it's $150 experiment.
I want to mount a samsung tab but afraid something like that would bounce around too much. Use Google maps navigation tethered to my phone and then cache maps when heading out off-road.
I had a different Padholdr mount installed in my 2015 CM for almost a year. I used it to mount my iPad inside the truck and used it as my music provider for my truck through Apple Music. It worked great! I paid about $140 for the mount and then another roughly $50 I think for the arm that mounts the mount into the dash. It locked and worked great! My only downside I would say is depending how far out from the dash you put the mount, the more it shakes when you hit bumps. I sold my iPad recently so I'm currently selling my Padholdr for a deep discount in the For Sale forums if you are interested in trying it out.
