Replacing the head unit

Ok I am looking to replace the factory head unit with an aftermarket in dash touch screen. The unit i am looking at replacing it with has a few warning notes that say the factory hands free will no longer work if i replace the unit. the new unit HAS hands free built in so thats not a problem. my questions are;

-will my hands free controls on the steering wheel still work with the new unit?
-If not are there any mods i can do to make it work with the new unit?
-what other things if any will no longer work? (aside from aux jack)

Be more specific. Which aftermarket HU are you looking at?

Did you buy a unit such as the PAC or Axxess for your steering wheel controls? You can program the steering wheel controls to do what you want with it. They even have plug and play harnesses that keep the aux port working.
