I will post it this weekend. The XM piece is a Pioneer box that T. Muhammad the K6 source was able to sell me. Like I say I will get the write up and pics hopefully with P/N posted this weekend.

I haven't dug too much into the camera, mainly because I'm wanting to do a forward facing as well. I can't decide which monitor I want to you use for the front camera and rear camera, since I know have the mirror as well as the radio. Hoping to address this by the end of the month and will have a camera update posting ho to.

Not trying to revive but rather inform all that have subscribed to this thread....back up cam definitely works on this head unit! Just had it completed yesterday. Problem is that I believe that you have to have the mirror also. I do but the point is that maybe someone can figure out how to do it with out the mirror? Also, when splitting the signal between the mirror and HU, there will be these very faint but visible lines that continually run down the monitor like interference or something. Not bad at all....in fact most probably wouldn't even notice it!

I have had the same problem with the lines in the screen when adding aftermarket units to customers trucks and splitting the signal from the camera, it is just a lack of signal strength, if it bothers you a video amplifier installed in the video signal will make it go away but that's a lot of work for a very minor issue.

I don't think they are satellite ready which is a fail for me as I really enjoy my XM radio stations....more important to me to have that than navigation.

Did you get your issue resolved?
I am going through the same thing. I bought this unit and installed on my
2007 Tundra and the same thing " "route guidance will know begin" and then "you have arrived at your destination." Nothing is said by the navi between the beginning point and the destination.

If you have resolved your problem I would appreciate if you could
give me the details as to how you did it.

Farooq,

Read through this thread and you should find answers to all of your questions. You need to purchase the K6 plug from the person mentioned in that thread. Not really a difficult install.

Just Replaced OEM '10 Radio with '12 Navigation Unit

You can use this link to see the exact wires the K6 connector attaches to behind the passenger side firewall by the floor. It is a different head unit but the installation is similar.
