Really need some wiring help here -- USB/AUX to A51893 HU

Hi,

I'm in the process of updating my system in a 2008 DC SR5. I have learned a lot from this site but need a little more.

I purchased the Panasonic 2010+ HU with bluetooth/USB and integrated sat tuner from eBay and installed it no problem.

I also purchased the USB/Aux input and have read the thread on how to wire the switch end here...
HOW TO: Tundra USB/Stereo input on Tacoma aftermarket head unit - Tacoma World Forums

That's all good but now I need to know where the other end of the wiring goes on the head unit and into which plug? Every search i've done has left me hanging.

If anyone has any information to help me get this wiring done it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Warren

I also got some Hertz HSK 165s installed. I'm using an Audio Control LC2i from HU into an Audison SR4 amp mounted on the back wall.

So you are trying to do the stock USB with an aftermarket Panasonic? Also, what is the pic, is that the Panasonic or the OE radio.

I took a look at the link, and it looks like the other end of the USB would just connect to the aftermarket HU, but I don't see one in the pic. Is it possibly on the front?

Oh, now I get it. You are using a newer factory unit, right? You could ask TRENT310, he knows that kind of stuff. He is not here too much since he sold his Tundra, but checks in once in a while.

Yeah, newer OEM headunit. Thanks.

I PM'd TRENT310 a few days ago as I saw his many posts on this sort of thing but haven't heard back. I was unaware he sold his Tundra.

Cheers,

Warren

I bought a '12 Tundra dbl that has no USB at all and I would really like to add one. Is it possible to buy the USB/aux jack/face and the cable and just plug it in?
