Imay be interested. It will be tough to get the days off, I work weekend swing shift, Ill see. Looks like a good time. Is it mainly wide open, throwing it sideways or slow and steady through rocks and ish?

The pace will be set on what vehicles show up and what the group wants to see. The other few that have expressed interest are in Jeep wranglers and Grand Cherokees. I believe that most of the road is do-able in 2wd and not much rock crawling. There is soft sand in the lake bed if its dry and speed/momentum is your friend there.

I have a stock 2000 tundra SR5 4x4 TRD on 265/75/16 E duratracs, from what I read that is more than enough, right?. If I can get my exhaust manifold fixed by then I would like to join in the fun. I am also interested in the jan trip. I am coming from SJ,CA, so I just need to plan ahead.

Yes its still on for Nov 16-18th Right now I don't have anybody confirmed and might join a few others going if nobody confirms. I am going so anybody that is interested feel free to join me. 4wd is not needed so any of you 2wd folks are more than capable to make it. I plan on either staying at the AVI resort Thursday night or driving early in the AM on Friday since I am only about 2.5 hrs from the starting point.

Thanks, I wish I had time/cash to go, unfortunately I had to spend $1200 on my cracked exhaust manifold, and on top of that need all new steering bushings.

I saw that you guys have a run in Jan, maybe I'll drive out there then.

I would def be interested in doing this. When will the next be after the Feb trip. I wish i can make the next one, but im currently on deployment till spring time frame. Like mentioned before, im tired of seeing all the raptors having all the fun..!! we need to change that..
