2008 with Fabtech lift - pics

Just got my truck back from the shop with the new Fabtech lift and I thought I'd post pics since most people have the Pro Comp lift. Pics aren't the greatest... I'll have to take some better ones tomorrow in better sunlight.

Let me know what you guys think, god or bad.... I can take it

Before:

After:

Suspension closeups:

35x12.50 BFG Mud Terrain KM2 tires on 18x9 Pro Comp 6088:

A little perspective:

Haven't gotten a chance to drive it too much yet, but so far the softness of the suspension feels about the same, but the ride is a little rougher probably due to the tire size difference. Kind hard to explain.... I guess the suspension is plush, but a feel the road more. The BFGs feel good and are very quiet, but I haven't gotten above 50 yet. They are bumpy when coming to a stop though. You really feel the knobs then.

The loss of power is noticeable, but not terrible. I haven't gotten a chance to get on it yet though, cause of late afternoon SoCal traffic.

I'll have to update after driving it a bit this weekend.

Looks good. Thanks for the pics. Is it just me or do all the lifted trucks on here look to sit a little low in the back, compared to the front? Its not just the Tundra i see but alot of different trucks too.

It's not you Tyler, most lifts are lower in the back for different reasons. Some lift companies don't account for the TRD package and it will ride high in the back while some lift companies come with too small of a block! Its easy to do your own fix if it's low in the back and you want it level. A higher front end is always better for a prerunner type offroad. My lift originally came with 12 in front and 10 at the rear. I'm havin a little fun right now and adjusted it to 13" front and 11" rear! Easy to do and easy to change back!

Thanks for the comments guys. The height is a little misleading in these pics, but the truck actually sits pretty level. There's a dip in the pavement towards the front where the pics were taken so the front suspension extends a bit more.

I'm so bummed. I took the truck to meet up with my wife at the church fair last night and tried to fit somewhere where I shouldn't have parked. Upon pulling out, I forgot to bring in mirrors and clipped the driver side on a trailer. Broke offf some plastic and cracked the mirror. A new one is gonna be $500

how much did they charge for your pro comp installed? ive been thinking about it lately. 3" level is nice, but not as nice as 6.

Outlaw Offroad charge about $5500 including tax and everything for:

Pro Comp Stage 2
18-20 inch wheels (price may vary depending on wheel selection)
Tires (price may go up or down depending on tire selction)
labor to install
warranty
1,000 mile recheck

i think somewhere in the $5000 range for the stage 1 kit.
