Toytec Height Question.

I have searched a bit with mixed results. What is your final height of lift on the front? I have heard of settleing after a while.

I just got my 3" kit with blocks and this is probably a stupid question, but why to the spacers add up to only 1.75 inches? Does the other 1.25" come from the increased spring rate? Cause this just looks like a 2". I am thinking about shaving the 1" block down a bit, as I don't want any stinkbug look. But I don't want total a$$ dragger. Anyone have just the front Toytec 3" in with no blocks in rear and a pic? Thanks.

These do give you a full 3 " inch lift up front . The spacers also change the spring rate and I have not read of the toytec lift sagging . My spacers add up to a little more than 2 " .

The spacer doesn't go directly under the wheel. It actually affects a connection closer to the lower control arm pivot. Shock travel is less than wheel travel on a double-wishbone suspension layout.

RAMOINE, thanks. I figured you would chime in on this. Could you measure from center of hub instead of the ground. More accurate than considering all the variables with the tries. Could you do the rear too. You dont have to post pics, just #'s. Thanks again.

I might not put the rear blocks in at all. I have the timbrens (not deceided yet if they are staying, maybe airbags) so it wont squat much when loaded.

Right....didn't think about the leverage action on it....thanks for the insight!

Cool, thanks again. Good to hear that you had no after-sag. I read one post like that. Doesn't seem like that should happen at all though.

I think I'm going to see what it looks like without the rear first. I can always add them and take out the Timbrens later. Thanks guys!

Well, I'm happy with the Toytec. I just put the front on. Just changed oil, so I put the skid plate back on and used some "right stuff" for the skid spacers. Worked perfect. After you stick em thread in the bolt and align to perfection! thought i would post.

You have 28" rims (check sig)? Bad a$$ truck by the way! I plan on 305/65s as well.

I kinda felt life your cat!

I had a dog (retriever with a soft mouth) on Maui that would drag the cat by the head, trotting around the lawn like a toy, and it didn't give a $hit. Super funny, people would freak out.
