Warranty

When I bought my truck they told me it comes with a lifetime power train warranty, and before i call the dealership or the warranty company can someone advised the issues with installing a lift...if the dealer installs it as opposed to a shop or am i screwed with the warranty if a kit is added?

Thanks

They have to prove that whatever goes wrong with your truck was DUE to your alterations. To avoid this, just have them do it if you can. The lift should have a warranty too if you decide to get it somewhere else.

I believe there is someone on here with a 3" lift and 35's .

Here you go .

Completed 35" Tires with 2 1/2" lift

On this link , scroll down the page and look at fragmaster's truck 2.5" OME lift with 35s?

I'm still debating tire size for my truck , but I hope these links help to answer your question ?

make sure you don't open the package, I tried to get an intake installed on my celica a few years back, and the dealer said no, because it wasn't bought at their parts center.

That's true , but toytec is well known for making toyota lifts and the dealers don't mind putting them on .

well, for info on my intake it was an AEM CAI, and 50 state legal, but they still said no, they refered me to the motorsports place on the back side of the dealer. By the way nice burn out, first time I've seen it, since most of the pix don't load up on the works cpu.
