4 Low
Sorry about the noobish type question, but this is my first truck, and I'm curious. I know there is a huge difference in gearing, but what is the advantage of using 4 low? When would a person use it?
I've found it helps a little in really deep/loose snow, but why is that? Is more power going to the front wheels? thanks

It doesn't give you anymore traction, just lower gearing which keeps the power to the ground. This truck has plenty of power so it's not needed very often. Example: You might use it if you were pulling a trailer thru heavy sand, mud, etc, etc. The truck and trans wouldn't have to work so hard to pull thru it in low 4.
