this is just plain sick. How does a body lift cost and what are the downsides if any? How much for the pro comp 6 inch lift?

There seems to be a lot of mixed comments regarding the body lift on this site. I don't have one now but I've had em in the past with absolutely no problems. Pick the right body lift, have it installed correctly, check the bolts once in a while just like you check everything else on your truck. Typr "body lift" in the search box at the top of the page. Read all about it and you make the call. Don/t believe the negativity!Performance Accessories Off-Road Products - 2x4 & 4x4 Lift Kits, Jeep Accessories & more. makes one of the best kits out there by the way.

Thanks, The Suspension lift was a piece of cake compared to the Body lift, just all the little things that had to be extended was a pain in the a$$. But in the end it was worth it. Its definately an expensive Body lift but its nice cause it comes with EVERYTHING. as well as thorough instructions.

You got that right! I've done my share of body lifts and they are a pain in the ass for sure! It looks simple but there is a ton of crap to do.

The trucks obviously not as quick off the line but it still rides great, the Toyo Open Countries are the quietest Mudd Terrain tire Ive ever heard, after riding in my buddies truck and hearing how much quieter they were than my old BFG M/Ts on my Chevy, there was no question. And thanks for the Props.

We sell and install it all at my shop, HP Racing Inc, It was time consuming, being the first New Tundra weve done but the next one will be easier. Check out our site, HPR Inc -- Home

my sick tundra was stolen 4 months ago and i just got my new 1 last month and only have 5% window tint and shaved all the emblems off it. my 07 had the pro comp w/ 35's and a system. i was car jacked at gun point in down town atlanta at a stop light and they found the truck in miami missing the motor, lift, wheels and tires, doors and tail gate hood and front fenders and all the interior gutted so it was considered a total loss and i'm starting all over again. so my new toy isnt so sick right now hahaha but will be done hopefully as soon as I get the rest of my insurance check.

First of all at my height I don't think a car jacker could see who to point the gun at. Second if some "PUNK ASS BITCH" trys pullin that shit with me I'de throw it in reverse, crank the wheel all the way to the right and throdle it. What a mess that would make. Sorry to hear about your rig bro but I protect my Tundra better than I would protect my chick and I love the hell out of her. Keep us posted on the progress of your new one 1SickT.

Hey Syber that would be a great thread. Some insurance companies don't want anything to do with a lifted truck. Mine just asked "how much was the lift?" then adjusted the rate.

i was in the left turning lane waiting at the red light, just chillin at 2ish in the morning. then all the sudden out of F****** no where my passanger door opens up and this fool jumps in and puts the gun to my head and said its your choice "bounce or drive. i paused and thought to myself if i could just reach into my giant center console and ask the dude if i could get my wallet and thats it, and the truck is yours man, i could snatch up my glock 27 and let shi* rip, haha then i thought to myself if i did this my truck would get a little messy so that was actually the reson i let him have the truck because i didnt want to get my truck bloody and dirty and then roll around in a truck that i blasted a punk ass car thief. would have been a little uncomfortable for my wife to ride in that seat lol. on top of all this my gun was also taken that was registared in my name and now its on the black market somewhere. so pray to god no crimes are commited w/ it. the one positive that came out of that day was that i had just dropped off my trailer with my 2 CRF450's and 2 brand new yzf450 quads that we just rode that day for the first time. so thats my story of my old sick tundra. and yes as long as you have recipts the after market stuff is covered.
