ABS Hates Offroad - TundraTalk.net

When i took the truck out for a spin the other day the ABS was getting a workout offroad. Is there a way to deactive it that i dont know about it? It really limits the ability to stop in low traction conditions so im thinking it might cause issues next winter as well.

Did you hold down on the Trac control button to turn it off? I thought when you put it in 4WD it automatically turns off.. but i may be wrong..

Mine doesnt have any of those type controls the newer ones do.

When I used to take cars out onto the skid pad at Willow Springs, I had to pull the fuse to the ABS on a lot of new cars to stop it from working... Just don't forget to put it back in if you can do this in the Tundra.
