Post Toytech Lift... Noise

Just installed a 3" leveling kit on 07 Double Cab. Put 33x12.5 under. Cant find any rubbing at all with all my checks. but i here some kind of noise with the wheel completly turned over to either side.(but only when all the way cranked over) sounds like could be a rubbing. but it feels like it does when you cut it all the way over in 4wheel drive. and the truck almost skips. almost sounds like it is coming from the inside wheel of the turn. (on the inside back of the tire as well.) Any suggestions on what might be making the sound? or anything that i might wanna take a look at?? i will be taking and doing some work on the truck after work today... let me know if anyone has any ideas. thanks !!

The tire is rubbing the skid plate. Turn your wheels all the way then crawl under and you will see where. Cut it with snips or bend it a little.

I thought you could fit 35x12.50's with the 3" leveling kit (or less)? Is he rubbing just because of the stock wheels' offset, or do you have to 'modify' the skid plate no matter what?

The skid plate will rub , even with my stock tires and wheels .
You can either bend it , or trim it with snips very easily .
I just did mine today .
With 35's you will need to remove the front mud guards and trim some plastic from the front of the wheel wells .

With 3' front and 1' inch rear Toytec
