FJ40 In Peru

My cousin in Peru just finished restoring an FJ40 he will be using in some trailer competitions down there, i guess it is quite popular had no idea. Here are some pics let me know what you think

i love it, i have the newer version of this 4x4 that was never sold in the U.S. the FJ70 series.

Wow, that is cool.. I was at a FJ Cruiser meet eariler this year and a guy had one of those.. awesome! they can go anywhere!

ya it blew me away, in Peru they don't have the resources we have here in the states, all the work was doen by my cousin and his two friends.

Wow, that looks sweet! I love the older FJs and there are quite a few of them around here in the high desert. If I ever get "that cabin in the mountains" I'll really think hard about an original FJ to keep stashed there.

I've always loved the FJ40. The paint job and interior looks good, but you can still see all kinds of rust in the wheel wells and frame. I'll give him a C+ for effort.

Remember he is in Peru. Parts may be hard to come by. Also if he plans to use it why make it perfect
