I have the same experience with tons of gravel on our winter roads and no paint issues yet. Seems pretty durable to me. Of course I have read about thin paint problems on just about every vehicle on the planet. |

I have an '08 Tundra DC 4x4 5.7L and haven't had any problems yet. I do however want to see a Heavy Duty Version of this truck, as if this truck isn't heavy enough. This truck turns heads, hauls ass, and I can't complain about the 17mpg city/23.4mpg highway either. That is if I keep my foot off the accelerator and use the cruise control. Everyone that looks at my truck and/or rides in it compliments its size, speed, and comfort.
Had to buy a step stool so my mother can get into it though. Haven't got the tube steps for it yet.
