That argument don't hold water. Didn't the Air Force just buy a bunch of AirBus (European) jets over Boeing? Some politicians just got a hefty back door deal!

Has anyone read their owner manual?? No I mean really sat down and read it??? I hope this is a typeo!!!

Under the Maintenance Interval it says to “TIGHTEN THE CHASSIS MOUNT BOLTS” and “RE-TORQUE PROPELLER SHAFT BOLT” every 5,000 miles under towing conditions. And every 15,000 miles if you drive normal. They SHOULD not loosen. Maybe its the wrong bolts or need stronger bolts. This could indicate the is not as strong as advertised.
At 30,000 you need to replace the SPARK PLUGS no matter if your towing or not. That isnt going to be cover under the warrenty, it aint cheap. At 60,000 it recommends the “INSPECT THE ENGINE VALVE CLEARENCE” if you have been towing. This is the recommended maintenance so it is not cover under the warrenty (warrenty just expired). Doing a valve job is not CHEAP. With shop rates at $50 to $70 dollars a hour theres a couple hundred dollars. If they dont have to remove the head!!!

They dont tell you this on the commercials. Hope you have a torque wrench and some skill or a deep wallet!!!!

If you know anything please let me know!!!

You kids again KIDS these days always need to be reckonized for anything you do or you would cry about it. As far as speaking freely BOY I put in 21 years in the NAVY. Let me tell you something little brat you are. Have you buried any hero? I did over 250 military funerals as funeral detail leader. Did you ever had to tell a widow or mother while they're crying their eyes out that their little Johnny did the service well and the nation and present the flag. Yes we did the 21 gun salute also. Yes I did ALL service members not just Navy. I covered all of Massachuetts, Rhode Island, Conn, Vermont. This is while I was stationed in Newport, RI. This was besides my regular work we did this as volunteers. You know what you're doing we gamed that back in 02. That's right I built and ran the war scenarios while I was there KID. As far as being a real man you had to use (or suck up) grandfather. Boy you can't stand up for your own? The idiot you are trying to compare your super duty F250 against a Tundra. Not the same class asshole or are you blind too. Sorry I guess all that sucking up you do caused that. Being biased is one thing, but being totally retarded about the obvious is another so take your no good B/S someplace in Iraq where they might belive in you. Tell you the truth anyone that's been in combat or around it or did anything with it doesn't come out with I been In Iraq 3 times so people would listen to them so go crawl in your little hole and stay there with your kid friends.

Did you read this before you sent it??? 6 cruises what where you on the good ship lolly pop or carnival crusie lines. Where you running coffee for the Admiral. You have to be a officer. Did you ever sent foot off the ship. It must be rough being on a ship, running HOT water, warm beds, hot chow, t.v. internet and phones. Hes proably running coveys or sleeping in the dirt. Have you ever been in the dirt?? What he was talking about was Truck Trend ranked the Tundra as best truck against a F-450 and 3500 Chevy dually. Which is wrong. When a truck can tow a house vs a mole hill it cant be the best truck. Pick it up and read it. They only put 7,000 lbs behind them and the heavy duty trucks weigh a hell of alot more so they are alittle slower. Congradulations on doing 250 funerals as a detail leader while performing your normal duties. Maybe you buried some of his friends or guys maybe little Jonny was one of his. You ever think of that. So good job of making a ass out of your self, maybe your the boy/brat riding on everyones coat tails. Why didnt you just let it go??? Ever heard of a quiet professional. So you war gamed it thats explains why everything is so F@#$ Up. Maybe he has somthing with Domestics atleast the bolts dont loosen and valve dont need adjusted. The NAVY did well for you. Heres a sincere Thanks for serving our country.. Enjoy your job as SECURITY GUARD for LOOMIS.

Gald you know how to search the internet. I know you are get real or his little friend he needed to help him out. There are more than one magazine out there that has all different information on all this about Tundra. You can make a mockery out of the Navy and what people do in the Navy all you want. You don't see me making a mockery out of the Marines, Air Force, Army, National Guard, or Coast Guard. Who's the one looking like the a** and what you're writing. If you use any of your pea brain you have you know politics along with senior officers make it for what it is. I told you once I built the war scenario and ran it. It was up to all branches of the military to act in the war game. Do some more internet research and look that up JACK. I know you don't own a Tundra and you're here just to cause problems with anyone here. I see through your B/S. Apparently we know you're not the quiet professional so keep your preaching to your kid friends Jack. Apparently the same to you since you couldn't let it go buddy. Why are you on the defensive? You seemed to have a complex. You're more than welcome to come where I work at and discuss it. Also to help you out since you couldn't find the info I was enlisted man.

earl1, GETREAL! Your not fooling anyone. As everyone knows the Tundra just isn't a hillbilly truck and I know that's hard to take but, I just gotta keep it real with ya. I see your from Tennessee. I bet you have a rebel flag in the back window of your FoundOnRodeDead. This might be hard the hear but, the south LOST the civil war! You can't excede from the Union any longer! I know it can be hard to take and that's where the moonshine comes in but, the Tundra is a major contender now so, just dry your eyes and take another belt, it'll all be better in the mornin.

True but he's one way in Iraq. Other countries there like Germany don't use Chevy's there. So his point was moot. Thinking only Iraq has the harshest conditions was another myth. Here in the states we have quite a few states and Canada would beg to differ with his opinion. It's okay Mastertrim I didn't catch it right away either.

I smell a loser...

WTF getreal...It's not like we're gonna UNbuy our Tundras. Let us suffer in peace. Someday we'll know how right you are and nominate you for something. Who gives a rip what they drive in Iraq; what's in my driveway is what matters to me. You're HOME now. Either become a productive member of society or reenlist (if they'll let you), go back, and be a hero.
