Insurance.
Forgot to mention our insurance.
We are not exactly 'Young' (or old) our yearly insurance for our V6 SR5 4Runner (the wife's) & my V8 5.7L Double Cab Long Bed 4X4 Tundra is $635. Getting 'on a bit' has it's compensations......

Try Safeco insurance. I am 37 and my wife is 25. I have a DUI on my record and my wife has a preventable accident. We pay $225 per/month for an 08 Camry and my 08 Tundra. It went up when we bought the Tundra. The insurance company said that since it is a new model, body parts are hard to find so it would be high for the first year. The Camry only raised our insurance $2 per/month. The Tundra made it go up $25 per/month. I tried all the other ins companies and with my DUI they were like $650 per/month. Safeco smoked them all with the same coverage. We even have gap coverage. My DUI drops off in February so it should go down dramatically. If you have a clean record AIG is supposed to be cheap also.

Always remember that with anything else, you get what you pay for sometimes. Just because your rates are cheaper and believe me rates vary by state, doesn't mean that your insurance is better either.
I had Allstate in NJ up until 2004. I was paying $1200 every 6 months for 2 cars, 1999 Ford Explorer and a 2001 Ford Escape. My wife was an inexperienced driver. In 2004 I moved to NC. On the same cars, I was paying $588 every 6 months for the same coverage, same cars. I made some phone calls and ended up going with the same insurance company that my house is insured through. I now pay for the Tundra and a 2001 Escape $522 every 6 months and that is with lower deductables (250 for collision, 50 for comprehensive, fire, theft) and uninsured motorist. I also have a 3 point accident (my own with my Mazda6) which is included in that. Once that comes off, my insurance for hopefully just the Tundra is around $288 every 6 months. Either way, I'm happy the Tundra has great safety ratings. It really does feel like a safe truck when I drive it.
