I got $3500 rebate and $3500 off the sticker along with $3000 down payment. I traded in a 06 LT3 ext cab Silverado which wasn't in there trade in books and I told them Kelly Blue Book and NADA had the truck trade in value and what they were using Auction value wasn't going to work with me. You were losing $3000+ in trade in value. I nailed them on this truck knowing I was going to loose $7000 on the GM crap. My wife and I went in to buy 2 vehicles getting rid of both GM products. That was the leverage if both weren't sweet then no sale. The Prius was very good and we were ahead the car so that help sweetened the deal for the truck. Not to mention the lifetime warranty on both. Battery replacement on the Prius is over $4000. Not to mention what the price for the tranny on the Crewmax being a 6 speed sealed tranny.

Forgot to mention when you are buying vehicles out there. If you don't come in with your financing already done. The dealership will stick you where you are least expecting it. You may what % and they tell you 6% when 2% of that is for the dealer. When you break it down you're paying roughly over $300 a month to the dealership to help you with a local bank financing who works with them. The bank gives a low rate so the dealership can tack on this 2%. I got burnt on this with the 06 not paying attention to detail.

The dealer gave me the truck, and $25k in cash (used notes), and a date with his 18 year old daughter
OK, so thats a lie. I sold my previous vehicle privately and banked the cash. I paid invoice price and took 0% APR for 60 months. I later found out I overpaid on the extended warranty, so they made few bucks there ![]()

Ok a beacon score is your credit rating by a actual number and can be from I beleive 850 is the highest "excellent", and as low as 200 or lower and that means you can't even buy a candy bar on credit.
