I left ford out of it becasue I have no use for one. I had 3 fords and everyone was in the shop way too much for my taste. Yes we can talk about the 97 Thunderbird had it for 5 years and if I'm not right 27 times in the shop. Had it 2 days and had to go to the shop and fix the cruise control. Not to mention the top mechanics Ford has. The service advisor and tech tells me that it's suppose to slow down climbing a hill? News Flash my 92 Sonoma had cruise control and it made it with no problems down the same interstate. Well the start of my Ford relationship. SHould I mention the power window problems Ford has. Unbelieveable that all 3 fords I had, had this issue on all windows. Can you say DEFECT. Rumble strip on tranny on 97 T-Bird. The only fix was to use synthetic oil in the torque but since it was synthtetic it costs $125 even under warranty. Did I mention rear bearing issue along with 5 recalls on T-Bird? 3 recalls on 03 Crown Vic. Had it 4 years and in shop 18-20 times. 2x I can't be sure when they tell you to recycle your engine 8 times. This was also on the truck. Did I ever mention Check engine light. T-bird 4x 2 o2 sensors and the 2 cannisters. Funny when you replace one the other goes out within a week. How bright are the tech at ford? Well lets blame lowjack for the check engine light. No I'm wrong I don't know and along with my wife we don't know how to fill a tank up. Not to mention we had the vehicles 9 months and 1 year respectively for the check engine lights. 10x for that silly check engine light on the truck. Just to be told they can't fix it. Imagine that BUILT FORD TOUGH no one can fix it. I only had the truck 3 years and the way I was treated by the ford people I will never look that way and Chevy also. I would by a Dodge before a ford or chevy. These are the facts you don't want to hear. They're documented and I still have a copy of all service orders. What company jerry rigs a wire outside the harness to make a sensor worked? Especially when that didn't fix the problem. You got it BUILT FORD TOUGH. Just like all the points you listed before bad about a Tundra well I have the same for you too friend. As far as waiting for your reply I notice what hour you wrote it and I didn't reply and moved on to another tread. Oh yeah that's the internet duhh other treads duuhhh. If you're so intelligent look at the other treads and you will see that night I didn't waste the time for you. I was on other treads and just went back to see if you still had something to say. You'r right I'm to blame about buying a truck that stays on the road and if you're so pissed about it which you are that's why you're here it's not my fault when you look in that mirror and you see all DONKEY.

Check it out I dont have time to waste on your ignorant comments.. The name of the thread is "TOYOTA TUNDRA ROLLS OVER THREE COMPETITORS" Got any facts to back that up besides your feebleminded comments. So far the Tundra is the is the only 1/2t to have a predicted relibilty of MUCH WORSE THAN AVERAGE.

So simpleton you got hosed by FORD and CHEVY once and continued to purchase their vehicles. Thank you!!!! Thats says everything anyone should need to know about you. Your a saleman dream come true.. doltish, dull, dumb, fatheaded, half-witted, ignorant, imbecilic, impassive, lethargic, numskulled, obtuse, phlegmatic, simple, slow, slow-witted, sluggish, stolid, thick, torpid= DUMB

FACTS ANYONE HAVE THEM??? DIDN'T THINK SO!

The fact of the matter you are an idiot. You just prove yourself. The fact of the matter is you aren't intrested in anything but yourself Kid. If you want to use the treads on here as facts then face the fact jack that other people have facts about your famous 3. NOW if you can see your way up one tread from here that Dascrow put on then you will see the other 3 been rolled over in the desert. But since you love to come here and don't care what people write then please let the door hit your a** on the way out. Look who's ranting above. The fact is why do ford have 4 recalls on there 2008? 1 recall on 2007? Have you looked at Consumer Reports are did someone had to read it for you? Ford didn't rank too high. I won't go further into it since you're so good at what you do. I know now why you like ballon rides. You have so much hot air inside you need to find a better release.

The funny thing about your rant and raving you stated you have a degree in aeronautical science. You do have a lot of gumption to call someone not mature when you come here and you know damn well you're not intrested in a Tundra. Now who is real mature. Why don't you put that degree into something worthwhile then rant and rave about a tread. Now go home and cry about it.

You say Im here to cause hate and discontent. Look at 08CMAX who is a moron "Needless to say the tundra kicks that 3/4 ton's a** without blinking an eye!". Really where the test results. Ever seen a 3/4 4X4 diesel run low 12 on the 1/4 mile with the banks system and thats it, no turned up fuel pump, oversized injector or anything. Better yet match the 3/4 tons curb weight and you try it. Wait thats 7,864lbs topped of with fuel. Whats the Tundra's curb weight 5,500lbs so you couldnt even match a 3/4's curb weight. If 3/4 tons are so bad do the Toyota test and hook a bumper with it. We all know the outcome. The Tundra will follow it like a whipped dog. All im asking for is the facts. Dont get stupid about it. I have seen legitment questions asked but because you suspect the guy is a Ford, Chevy or Dodge guy you get all defenseive. Why do you need the retorques?? No body can answer it. And Mickey look at all the cotter pins on you front A arm (its under the front of your car has a spindle and some ball joints on it) last time I checked that isnt a aircraft or NASCAR. Your right I cry I cry hard from laughing every time I see anther dumbass driving a Tundra. So let me guess your all going to have your feelings hurt and BAN me. But hey what does consumer reports know and all other relibilty mags. 07 ranked much worse than others for relibility and one even said STAY AWAY FROM 07 4X4 5.7. So produce some facts... Can you???
Not causing hate and discontent?? Calling me a "moron" because a make a direct comparison of 2 trucks I have owned, towed with, driven long distance, raced, and hauled my family in? I didnt even mention diesel...in fact my GMC had the 8.1L 486ci V8 gas guzzler. Yes it was a heavier truck (da its 3/4 ton) and as I recall weighed a little more than you stated. So what? It had 2.4L more displacement and put out.... on paper 41 less HP but I suspect much less. This tundra rips my boat out of the water or up hills much MUCH better than that 3/4. So yeah I'll take it personally when you verbally attack me in front of my Tundra Bros. Oh and by the way where is the test results? Its called experience and real world use. And hook the Tundra to a 3/4 ton for bumper pull? Which one? If it was my last one the Tundra will win. But hey what does Motor Trend know. Maybe you should call them and straighten them out too.

08CMAX He just proved where the facts are. He doesn't like them or dare's to go to them. He knows who has the safest truck. He knows Motor Trend and the farmers picked the Tundra. He knows these things because he is the intelligent one. He has a degree. He doesn't consider good treads on this forum about the Tundra facts only the ones who have issues. The name streets after him (ONE WAY). He proved who rants with every name he can find in websters for me. What really gets me he has the gumption to tell me he is a marine. Which goes back to "GET REAL" who was one and was banned. He stated he was earl1 which the name was banned also. Now for a person as intelligent as he with that "Aeronautical Science" degree why come on the site to get banned so much and not even own a Tundra. My only guess is that degree must have come out of a Craker Jacks box. He is entertaining as Dez states.

So let me get this straight 08CMAX you want to be all huffy because I called you a MORON when Mickey said the same thing before you even made your post. Mickey I understand your fustrated but calling me kid isnt proving anything. You bought a Ford and GM and had problems with both of them. Then went back and bought another. How smart is that. Wanna buy a ATV?? Dont go away with your feelings hurt, I appolgize I didnt know you where that ignorant. So you rip a boat out of the water what does that prove. A Ridgeline, Dakota or even a Wrangler can do that. WOW im impressed! How about you put a 39ft toyhauler behind it. Thats only 14356lbs without 3 quads. Theres only alittle above 2500lbs on the hitch. Then I will be impressed. Thats what a 3/4 and 1 ton are for. If you where looking for a somthing fast theres was the SRT10, Lightning/Harley and Deneli. They will still tow your boat. 08MAXC hows the sky look when you put a good amount of weight in your bed?? Good thing you have the front sensors. My wife likes that feature. So about Consumer Reports I didnt write it consumers did. What full size trucks received the "RECOMMEND" status. Heres a clue, it was not the Tundra. So why hasnt J.D. Power even rated it yet?? Man you guys need to do your research before you just put it out there, the Tundra is NOT the safest. Nice try, look it up. So if the Tundra is so much better than a 3/4 why did they only put LIGHT TRUCK tires on it?? If Toyota made more than 174,000 trucks they probably would have alot more recalls. Thats only about 1/4 of what one domestic makes. But hey my drive shaft is not falling out. How's all those issue's everyone is having, I feel for you? You all can continue to whine and make whitty comebacks but wheres the FACTS???

Thats only about 1/4 of what one domestic makes. But hey my drive shaft is not falling out. How's all those issue's everyone is having, I feel for you? You all can continue to whine and make whitty comebacks but wheres the FACTS???
Okay since you want facts here they are. I didn't write them and with your intelligence maybe you can figure it out. Your are worried about the thread's name sake and want facts. Look up the originator. Sean M. Wood at Express-News Business Writer on MySA.com. That was posted 08/22/07 at 9:50 pm. CDT. The views were in Consumer Reports September 2007 edition. Dascrow copied it and posted it here on 08/25/07 at 10:00 am. That's where the thread originated. If you have any issues contact them. You have been very entertaining. Biased though but entertaining. You being a person liking the big 3 and you make fun of why I wanted to stay with them. I'm not hurt at what you say simply consider the source. You will learn it's customer service is what will keep people with a product. Yes your driveshaft may not be falling out but what's wrong with your gas tank? Recall on Ford look it up. But enough is enough and I will let you go on. Hopefully one day you will open your eyes and actually see all facts not just the ones that please you. I'm sorry you're so miserable that the fact is Toyota rose to number one and your maker can't get out of the whole they are in. Like you said consumers did that. Now that we both had fun ranting and raving even though you won'r admit it I will leave you with this thought. "Who is the fool, the one who leads, or the one who follows?"
