Well, I had some time to kill, so I thought I would browse the forum, and came upon this thread. Very interesting reading to say the least. Let me add my insights. First, as for the comment about meeting women, my wife bought my truck for me. Now, I suppose that some more sexist among us could make a comment about that. They haven't met my wife. Not to brag, but I'm a fairly smart guy. I'm an attorney and serve as a medic in the Army National Guard. I have my NREMT-B Certification. Having said that, she is more intelligent than I am, with a Major in English Lit and minors in zoology and psychology. She doesn't make any major decision without thorough research. She researched online, discussed it on forums with people who tow horse trailers, looked at depreciation, you name it. She has a very analytical mind. Her conclusion? The Tundra.
As for this: Silverado vs. Tundra Twist Ditch While I agree that a mechanical locker is a good thing, it seems pretty clear, especially in the ramp sequence, that the Toyota driver was letting off of the gas just as the electronics were engaging the LSD, so that it would continue to spin. Great manipulation of the way the electronic system works. I would love to see Toyota offer an e-locker.

Funny.. I was looking at a Dodge 'Rumble Bee' and the F150, but my g/f pushed me to get the Tundra..
Having 250,000 miles on my 11 year old Tacoma that my buyer drove away on (with the original engine and trans!), kind of helped push me in this direction also ![]() -Dave |

Way to go Dave. Hey Crewmax getreal was a joke from day one. Him and his bro Denutto. They think alike. It was fun going head to toe against his Ford. Like my comments said he had no life and kept coming back.

It's okay Crewmax he still comes on under another alias just to read what's up. He gets involved when he wants to rave about the Tundra.
