With polyurethane kits, a spacer is installed BETWEEN the coil spring and the top of the strut. That puts preload on the spring which noticeably stiffens up the ride. But probably the worst thing about the poly kits is they are known for over-extending the strut causing strut failure. With ours, you simply unbolt the strut from the vehicle, install the steel spacers on top of the strut and bolt everything back up. RIDE QUALITY IS UNCHANGED UNLIKE THE OTHER KITS ON THE MARKET. This kit does wonders for the look of your new truck. It is recommended that you have the alignment checked after installation. This kit comes with all hardware which is zinc plated and complete instructions. The spacers are offered in black finish.
