Locking Differential
Do all tunfda 4wd have a locking(posi) rear end? Looking at a 07 DC 4x4/ I know the ones with the towing package come with it but what about the ones with jsut the sports appearence package and no trailer hitch

I don't think any '07 Tundra's have a locking diff. They have what Yota calls an automatic lsd diff. No comparison, IMO. Also, a 'posi' is not a locking diff, it's a lsd, big difference.

All Tundras have the same traction control.
Normal mode- VSC and TRAC Push buttom once- A-LSD and VSC Push and hold button- Turns off everything, but VSC will still engage in severe situations. 4WD-A-TRAC

Rear diff
Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure I didnt need to check to see if was optioned with one. After 20 years of buying full size chevys I am getting ready to buy a new Tundra. Was not real happy with my 04 Avalanche.
I am glad it is standard issue. On the Chevys you have to make sure. |
