Another Price Check

Hopefully this will be the last price check and I can move to the other portions of this forum i.e. aftermarket upgrades

2007 Slate Double Cab 4x4 5.7L, TRD Package 39xxx miles on it. They are asking $29,xxx for it which is just crazy but Im sure there is some room to work with. If not I can almost get a new Tundra for that price.

Appreciate all the help and input, I really dont want to have to settle with a Silverado but at this rate it seems that I might never get a reasonable price for a Tundra.

check into what kind of rebates are going on now. sometimes you get a 5 grand rebate, 36-5 gets you into a new truck for 31..........

Not sure where you are, but when I was in the market prior to buying my '09 back in April, I also looked at quite a few used, including a few equipped similar to the one you mention that stickered for $24-$26K before any negotiation. And if I recall, none of them had anywhere close to 39k miles either.

I'd say $23-$25K would be reasonable, and really only if you walk away with an extended warranty IMO.

I see your in Texas (which is where Im from) but currently stationed here in New Jersey where trucks are marked up like nothing I have ever seen before. There was a 07 Crew cab going for 32K at a dealer last week just couldn't believe it. Im half tempted to drive down to TX visit the family and drive home in a new truck.

I am just across the bridge from you in Philly. There are good truck prices to be had over here anyway. Me and my bro inlaw were looking at a limited with 4500 miles on it 08 for 37........

I guess it is related to region. I just checked and found that Toyota is still running $3000 cash back on '09s and $2000 back on '10s in my area. With rebate and dealer discount, you could get pretty much that same truck brand new here for what they're asking for the '07 you're looking at in Jersey.

Might be worth a trip home? Good luck with it and keep us updated!!
