Just curious as i am buying next week what can i realistically expect to pay before taxes for this truck. I think the rebate in Las vegas is 3-4k. Before taxes would 27000 be unrealistic? what about with the Trd package? any help would be awesome thanks guys and cant wait to join the crew.

I saw a couple posts about A dealership in asheville that everyone here seems to compare to. Are those prices i should be looking at getting or are they better then that?

Welcome! Just a friendly warning, if you don't mind a little extra rough ride on average roads then the TRD is your truck. There have been quite a few posts lately by TRD owners wanting to change out their Bilstein shocks for a smoother ride.

I have the TRD and don't think it rides that bad. I live in Montana and we have some pretty rough roads up here. It's a little choppy at times but I guess I am just used to rough riding trucks. I think my truck rides really good most of the time.

From what I hear if you break it in rough riding it naturally softens the springs, but for everyday street driving you may not ever get to that break in point.

Be patient and look around. I got my 08 DC with the 5.7, 4X4, and leather for 26,500 otd in March. I also didn't settle, I got the black exterior and the black interior I wanted. I worried that I was going to have to special order, but all worked out well for me. No TRD package for me, but I intended on replacing my wheels and tires and putting a leveling kit on it, too. So, I really had no need for the TRD.

That's about right for us north of the border. I just signed the papers on my new truck at about $40 grand.

Still beat the pants off of what the Chevy, Dodge and Ford dealers wanted for similarly equipped rigs, so I'm happy.
