2008 Pricing
Just found this, it came out 10/3 but the first I've seen hard numbers like these.
TORRANCE, Calif. — Toyota has realigned pricing on its 2008 Tundra pickup, introducing a new trim level called the Tundra Grade that is designed to appeal to price-conscious shoppers. A 2008 Tundra Grade Double Cab starts at $25,400, including a $685 destination charge, compared with $26,690 for the 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5. The 2008 Tundra arrives in showrooms in mid-October. The Tundra Grade eliminates such standard SR5 features as a tow package, upgraded wheels and a navigation system. A 2008 Tundra Grade Crew Max starts at $28,370, including destination. Toyota said it has also expanded the Tundra lineup for 2008, adding 13 new model variations and enhancing standard equipment. Toyota says the Tundra is on track to hit its goal of 200,000 units in 2007, "despite tough market conditions." What this means to you: The Tundra price adjustments should make you happy if you're shopping for a full-size pickup in that $25,000 range. |

Good to know. I was starting to think that the Tundra was out of my price range. It's still on the top of my list as far as vehicle shopping goes so I'll have to see what they come up with. I HAVE to get a new car between now and Jan 15th, which is when my lease is up.
