I would try to wait for the October announcement for rebates...maybe Friday the 5th. I think the rebates have to go up as sales have been down since the highs of summer when rebates were also higher.
Mine gets built next week.

I just received an email from a dealer that said the rebates have not changed for October.
I guess the good news is I've heard reports that the 2008 models which are coming in now are more for less. More options are now standard like bucket seats, heated mirrors, mud guards, 6 disc CD and the cold kit. That used to be $565, $30, $60, $200 and 100 respectively for a total of $955 worth of options that are now standard. And at a lower base cost. Don't have those numbers yet.

Toyota .com was updated a couple days ago with this info. Just enter your zip. It looks like southern Cal zip has rebates up to $3000 on 5.7L Reg cabs or $2500 on CrewMax. You can feel good about that cause in PA ( my state ) it's only $2000....actually says some models excluded. I hope thats NOT the Crewmax excluded!
