I'm in the market for a New Crew Max. I can go SR5 with "goodies" or Limited, not hard over either way...
I see Trucks on all the lots...but they cut the incentive! I can buy or wait....so I'm waiting a bit. I'm thinking Labor day right now. I was hoping for invoice plus $500 and take the 0%. Anybody seeing deals like this!? ![]() |

Well, I drove 650 miles one way from NW Ca. to LA to buy my Tundra.
I found the truck on the Internet at Carson Toyota, Toyota of San Juan Capistrano also had one. The MSRP was $41, 428, I paid $33,235 + tax etc. It was well worth the 27 hour drive and 1300 mile round trip. I Spent less than an hour at the dealer, everything was ready when I got there. The Truck was a DC Limited 4X4, TRD, NAV, Cold Kit, mud flaps, DRL's, Tow mirrors, floor mats, sill protectors and running boards. This was an Internet special of which there were a couple of choices.

I have no idea how they account for the difference, but Toyota pricing in Canada (at least where I am in the NW) is way different. Those ads on TV for rebates and special finance rates? Not up here. No cash back, 5.9% over 5 yrs the best dealer financing I could find. And discount off the sticker??? I wish! My sticker was $44k, I paid exactly that. Visiting different dealers did net me an extra $2k on my trade, worth the 4 hour drive. FJs were the same when they first came out, we bought ours in March 2006 for the full sticker price, again a little wheeling on the trade, but a $6k discount off the sticker price would get me laughed right out of the dealership! Without a trade you might get $500 - $1000 off sticker in a big city, out in the sticks where I am no such luck. No regrets, love both vehicles.
Cheers

Thanks! Yeah the blue is a bit of a departure for me too, but I'm very haoppy with it. When we bought our FJ last year silver was the only one we could get our hands on and the boss (wife) didn't want to wait, now every time we see one of those blue ones....

0% / 60 months??
On my way to work this morning, I heard a commercial on the radio saying Toyota is offering 0/60 on Tundras. I've been searching the internet and can't find anything on it. I hope the commercial was accurate. I know that their financing offers were supposed to change today so hopefully it's correct. Just a heads up.

Dang, I got all excited for nothing. I even called the dealership to see if it was true and the guy said yes. Obvioulsy he didn't know what he was talking about. I asked him "Are you offering 0/60 for ALL tundra models?" He said, "Yes, for the whole month". Oh well
