Pre-Tundra (my first "baby")
Well, as I put my first truck up for sale (just placed an ad tonight), I reflect on her beauty, reliability, and overall love I had for her (and still do, although the Tundra has taken her spot in my garage). She's a 1997 GMC Sierra extended cab 4x4, with only 160,000 kilometers on her (aprx 96,000 miles to you american folk). I bought her new in '97 and was thrilled to bring her home.
We had our up's and down's, such as, about 3 years ago, it was in the shop over the course of 6 or 8 months so often, I was getting fed up and broke all at the same time. I must admit, however, she's been great for quite awhile now, except for the master cylinder for the brakes went on her in February. ($850.00 later, I have brakes again). Anyway, just a quick reflection, and now that I know how to post pictures, here's a few. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyone else out there that would like to reflect on their first "baby"?

Yeah, it's a Longo plate. I was all over the FJ... for a year until I got sick of it. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of fun, but the 6 speed in the daily commute and the all wheel drive that sucked down gas faster than my Tundra had to go.
