Articles of impeachment
http://chun.afterdowningstreet.org.n...entoftruth.pdf
I can see the possiblitity that this will turn into a flamestorm, so if anyone who wants to comment could simply stick to the accuracy of the document. Seems to be pretty accurate to me. |

Maybe so...but
I do not agree with everything that happened since 9/11, but I do not feel that this needs to be brought up in the Senate. He will be out of office in less than a year and this would tie up Congress instead of spending the time to focus on what needs to be focused on. Therefore, costing more taxpayer money and misuse of the House and Senate's time.

I think the House and Senate should give it a fair shake. I cannot say those allegations are frivolous. Although I am not in complete privy to a lot of information, the Articles appear accurrate - at least worth exploriing. While I agree, Bush will be out of office before anything of significance can come of it and I also agree it will take considerable tax money to address the same. But I also believe Bush is the worst President of my lifetime and his legacy should reflect that. Thank God we have men and women in the armed forces that are loyal to our country and do not question their call to duty, but as citizens we have a responsibility to our troops and each other to assure our leaders are competent and forthcoming in their decision making (Bush has not been). When bad decisions are made, accountability must be had. Bush has mislead our leaders and the citizens of this country. While I recognize the inherent freedom we all have to exercise our opinion, and I acknowledge there are Bush supporters out there, I really question how anyone can say anything good about this man! In the last eight years, I've witnessed our country become hated by a good portion if not majority of the world for being aggressive and "always right", I've witnessed our country be mislead into a war in Iraq that simply had nothing to do with the war on terror, I've witnesses young men and women returned from their unquestioned duty to serve, both killed or seriously injured - yet our veteran affairs are ill equipped to serve and help such a deserving group. I've witnessed a exponential increase in the cost of gas, a mortgage crisis, exponential growth of the national deficit, inadequate school funding, a decline in our manufacturing base, an increasing trade deficit with China - a communist country I might add, a wonderful recession, and the list goes on and on. Many are quick to criticize the Clinton years because of the whole sex scandel and NAFTA, but I think if a lot of you reflect back to those years, life was pretty good in the U.S. As to the future, all we can look forward to is CHANGE!
