XBOX 360 or PS3??

I currently have 2 XBOX 360's and I'm thinking off grabbing a PS3 so I can play GT5 Prologue and GT5 when the complete game comes out. Which consoles do you all play, if any. Pro's and Con's are welcome. I haven't had any playing time with the PS3, so let me know what's up! Thanks!

No Wii?

Nintendo has a knack for making fun games - the Xbox and PS3 manufacturers think they are making movies. There are some good games for all 3, but the Wii really nails it. Good graphics are nice, but they can't make up for a crappy game for long.

i have both xbox 360 and ps3,
-the ps3 online isnt as fun as xbox and you have to have/buy a blue tooth headset, but it is free
-the graphics are little better on ps3 but thats with a HDMI cable (buy separate) + HD tv
-the controllers are lightweight and rechargeable
-its the cheapest blue ray player so far
-you can surf the web, add photos and music
-when sony eventually release Home (YouTube - Sony Home demo)
-it takes up more room on the floor/table/cabinet than any other console
-ps3's menu is alot cooler (in my opinion than xboxs)

and thats all i can think of right now if i think of more later ill added i would buy the ps3 if you want it, its nothing amazing but its not as terrible as some people make it sound, the games are basically the same

The Wii doesn't have any games that I'm interested in at this time.

I own a PS3. I grew up with playstations and I love how ergonomic the controllers are. Grand Theft Auto 4 is great . The Built in Blue Ray player is a huge part of why I stayed with Playstation, although I believe you can get an adapter for your 360 to play BR DVD's. I have Gran Tourismo Prologue and the game is amazing, though limited of course. When they release the full version it will be amazing. The photo realism is unreal. I think everyone should rock a PS3 unless you are a halo junkie

I have an XBox 360 with about $500 worth of games (not as many as you would think for the price) and the onlly thing I have ever really played on it is Guitar Hero. My wife plays some with it and the kids love it. 99.9% of my gaming (to much) is on the PC.
It seems like most of the really popular games are on both Xbox 360 and PS3 - if I was going to choose today I'd go on price.

The Prologue videos I've seen look sweet. Thats why I think I'm gonna get a PS3. Blu-Rays a nice feature too

Yeah if you already have a 360 which has a better Online store & features...I mean i am a PS3 owner but i am sure you can get a blu-ray player cheaper soon..I got PS3 cuz of the blu-ray since, HD DVD well bye bye. Plus it plays games. GTA 4 is so f'n fun. But if you are a gamer then get it, it's a good system...

the wii was fun to play drunk with friends when i first got it, but then it became stupid.

call me old school but i dont like this new trend of having to tilt and move the controller.

what happened to slothing on the couch and just moving your fingers?

i got this cable from ebay that lets me hook up an original NES controller to my computer and play all the classic titles in an emulator. Super Mario 3 for life!

But if i had to choose, i would say xbox 360. i have yet to try out ps3.

I have a PS3, my screen name is the same as here. Feel free to add me as your friend. I play when I can. Right now GTA 4 is in the rig, I occasionally play COD 4 online. I can't wait for SOCOM to come out.

I have a 360. I plan on buying a PS3 later this year for the BR capability. Also the games for the PS3 (GT5, MGS4, free online).

We have both , the PS3 is alot more diverse than the Xbox , I stream music from my computer to both , PS3 sounds better , better graphics , Blu-Ray player hooked up to 46" HD LCD looks incredible . Has built in wireless network , easy to add to your home network .
I had to buy extra fans for the Xbox because they do run hot . It does not come with wireless network capapbilities , got to buy seperate adapter , Controllers are more rugged feeling , to watch HD movies you;ll have to buy a seperate drive , HD Discs are Dead at most retailers . Better online gaming than PS3 .

I think that's about as much as I know , hope it helps .
