I thought this was another spam post. Good to see it's not.

recently 5 of my friends have also converted with the same positive results. plus dashboard and spaces and everything being drag and drop makes posting on forums quick and easy. since you have a mac, im gonna let you in on a little secret program thats PERFECT for putting pictures in forums. its called grabup. its free. GrabUp - Lightning Fast Screen Grab Sharing! what it does, lets say you're looking at a picture and you want to link it into a forum, usually you'd have to save the picture, then upload it to your own server like photobucket or image shack, and then put in the img code. but with grabup, you simply hold down command+shift+4 and crosshairs come on the screen, you select the picture, and then it automatically saves the picture to your desktop, PLUS uploads it to a free grabup server, AND puts the URL of the newly uploaded picture into your clipboard. so all you have to do is put the image code and post the URL. the whole process takes about 5 seconds. see like this. ![]() its basically like pressing the PRINTSCREEN button on windows, but it lets you select what you actually want "printscreened". its one of the coolest programs ive seen for macs. a friend of mine told me there's a similar option for Windows users, but i dont know anything about it nor do i care! muahahahahhaha |
