Mcain leads the poles here as well. Fortunatley CA doesn't dictate who leads our country, who knows who would be elected.

The last time a (D) lost the Presidential election I saw people with protest signs on the left coast that said "Fuck Middle America". I laughed..... I'm not trying to offend you California guys, I love to visit the state, I just don't agree with the liberal views that a good number of the citizens there believe in.

Different strokes for different folks.

The Obama frenzy hasn't caught on here in Washington, Mssouri and I doubt it will. Remember this is the Show Me State and Obama hasn't showed anyone anything, ever.

Heres Obama's ten point plan to "change" the second amendment, And If you dont beleive it look it up. 1) ban the use of firearms for home defense. 2)pass federal laws eliminating your right to carry.3)ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns. 4)closes down 90 % of the gun shops in America . 5) ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting. 6)increase federal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500 percent. 7) restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime. 8) expand the clinton semi-auto ban to include millions more firearms. 9) mandate a goverment-issued license to purchase a firearm.and 10) appoint judges to the U.S supreme court and federal judiciary who shares his views on the second amendment. And people want this Yahoo in office next year ? I dont get it.

i know some of you people just dont understand, but hunting is a sport. just like football. just like baseball. i mean, this is as crazy as the a presidential candidate saying he is going to ban baseball bats. no more baseball then. you could hurt or kill someone with a bat.

that sound rediculous doesnt it.... about as rediculous as someone wanting to ban my wingmaster, .220 swift, .243, .270 short mag, and 7mm short mag. i mean, what are they going to do? just walk into my house and take something i spent my hard earned money on? good luck OBAMA.

i think this year its going to be a mess like last time. i think obama will win the popular vote but whatever those weasel electorates do....i dunno whats gonna happen. i truly believe that whoever wins the popular vote deserves to be president. i think if the same thing happens that happened with bush and gore, riots will break out.

I hope that does not happen to you guys, that would suck. Up here in Canada you can not get a permit to carry or conceale. But i am aloud to buy a handgun, and buy a permit to transport to the range and back. And when you store it in your house, it has to have a trigger lock, and be in a locked tamper proof caes, with ammo in seperate locked case. What a friggin joke.

Hmm...and what party is she in again?

I have read every post in this forum over the last hour and there are many good points...for both sides. I agree, this election is about choosing the less of two evils. Who will do the best job? Who will give the people what they want and need?

I will vote for who I think would give us the best opportunities and economic growth in the next four years. This means that I dont pick a person because of ONE item of their platform...I look at everything. For this reason, Obama will NOT get my vote.

I cant see voting for someone that says my children should learn spanish so others will feel more at home in my country. I cant see voting for a candidate that tells me what car or truck I should own or what my thermostat should be set to in my own home. I cant see voting for a person that actually likes the fact that gas is so high because it will force the American people to conserve. I will NOT vote for a candidate who's first lady will not appreciate the country that I live in. I will NOT vote for someone who wants to sit at a table with known terrorists and hostile governments and talk without pre-conditions. This is America damn it, we DONT negotiate with terrorists. I wont vote for someone that changes their minds and policies depending on who he is speaking to at that moment. If he does that kind of thing to get a vote, what do you think Obama will do when he is talking to terrorist leaders?

Im sorry but Obama scares me. I fear for my family and my country. His "change" means more big government, unemployment (this is what happens when you overtax the people that employ us) and his inexperience will hurt all of us. Who the hell runs for president after only playing in the pros for 143 days? Right after 911, Bin Laden said that he would destroy America from within...I cant get that out of my head when I think about Obama and the roller coaster of a life he has led (referring to his associations, his childhood and his willingness to speak to terrorist leaders).

McCain would not be my conservative choice if there was more to choose from. I dont agree with all of his policies but he doesn't frighten me like Obama does. Atleast he can vouch for our armed forces...I dont care if all he can find on his computer is the Solitare game or not.

As far as Polosi being a Democrat...for the checks and balances system to work, we need to make sure that we have separate parties in goverment. A Democrat controlled government will take away our rights and usher in "big government" that will control more of our day to day lives...the little things that we take for granted will be stripped from us. Hey, Im all for change but the only change that I have seen since the Democrats won Congress is the amount of money in my wallet. It needs to stop....NOW.

By the way, a shout out to all my conservative MISSOURI brothers. Born and raised SHOW ME pride.

I am a gun collector, reloader, shooter and I carry concealed. While Barak's plans to disarm our citizens and our country deeply troubles me it is only one of many issues that I have with this Brutha from another Mutha....

Ultimately you will pay more tax with a Democratic President supported by a Democratic Congress and who the hell wants that? Wealth distribution? Not mine pal.... Universal Health Care? Who is paying for that? Not me Jack, I already pay over 6 bills a month to cover my family. He has no economic program that cuts the mustard.

I won't lie, I make a good living and I won't make excuses nor feel bad for working hard and making a good living. But I'll be God Damned if my Government is going to take any more of my money in the form of taxes to feed all of the Liberal feel good Social Programs.

Want your welfare check? - Take a drug test, that alone would probably save the taxpayers a small amount of money.

I'm starting to rant now so I'll stop, bottem line is that Barak is not the right guy for the job.

I wish McCain would pick up Newt as his running mate............. Newt Gingrich is undoubtedly one of the smartest Politicians that we have.

I think your dead right, this is going to be more fun to watch than the Olympics regardless of the results.
