im afraid to admit that you have a point. One can argue that since our vote actually DOESN"T count (electoral college), then all registering to vote does is put you in line for Jury Duty.

I've been called to Jury Duty twice already, and I'm 21. Never registered to vote either.

Thankfully when I was working, my job paid for Jury Duty...but I wasn't chosen (YAY)

I'd rather shoot myself than vote for Obama.

OBAMA fails....at everything!! Yeah if we all get our regular maintanence done and check our tire pressure we won't have to drill for more oil!! (OBAMA quote) HAHAHA...what a contradiction, a person that owns a TUNDRA voting for OBAMA, who wants all gas guzzlers gone!! Go find a greenie-hybrid forum...

What about ANWR in AK??? They have drilled on it in the past...and they will again. OBAMA says a lot of things that his people tell him, his people nor himself are informed.

" i have a truck therefore i must vote republican "

whoever has this mentality is a moron. if you want to vote for mccain then vote for mccain, but saying that people who own trucks shouldn't vote for obama is simply ridiculous. that kind of thinking just shows people that you aint had nuff book learnin in yer life. personally, i could give 2 shits how much gas costs. its not gonna make me vote for mccain who doesn't have a solution anyway. any offshore drilling we do wont hit the gas station till at least 10 years from now. there's no gas crisis, there's no gas shortage, its just expensive. if you cant afford it, dont get a truck.

Its not about dem or rep...or about a gas shortage...Its about OBAMA wanting to tax people for choosing to drive a truck or SUV instead of a hybrid. Really? I thought I was allowed to choose to drive whatever I want and not have to worry about getting taxed for it! If I can afford the gas, then that should be it. OBAMA called oil a villian in his most recent speech and said that we should stop drilling completely?!?! That doesn't make much sense, but most of what he manages to mutter out does. He sure does support the military too...NOT, I'll bet he can just end the war by snapping too...OBAMAGIC!...NOT. He sure does say a lot and not have much to back it (not even experience) At least by going with old-ass MCCAIN, we have a track-record (a long ass one) to look at.

Right...LOL, she'll just turn out the lights and tell everyone to leave!! People in the bush in AK are paying out the ass to heat their homes (raised by 300% over the past few years) and she wouldn't even let the vote come up for the energy bill for AK!! Thanks lib

Based on the poll it looks like the Majority on this web site will vote (R).

I am one of those hick mid west ultra conservatives who does not wat any tax increases nor a President that talks like he is Robin Hood, I just don't want a Dem in office with a Democratic controlled congress. Too many social giveaway programs that we all end up paying for.

Keep in mind everyone that Bill Clinton laid the ground work for the US losing jobs North and South when he signed NAFTA into law. Manufacturing in the US is going away to Mexico and Canada, Nafta needs to be repealed.

I can give you loads of factual information on why not to vote for Obama. None of it internet lore that will have to look up on Snopes. But I don't want to type on the web all day and besides, its just my opinion.

Gas is not going to go back down significantly anytime soon, it sucks but we all need to get used to it. If the value of the dollar would improve gas prices would get a little better but we are in a slowing economy. We do need to tap our resources and look to long term solutions now.

Frankly how prices are effecting gas is a freakin puzzle to me, very hard to figure out.

Anyway my 2 cents, take it for what its worth - Free

LMAO !
The Sky is falling !
Either one will raise your taxes , but the House and Senate will help do that too. You can not continue to give tax breaks and not pay for them somehow .
We've already seen food prices climb more than ever before because of the corn prices . The Great Ethynol fuel was suppose to help cure our need for fuel , yet it gets worse mpg's than gas and it's subsidized as well .
The oil companies are going to continue to rape us at the pump until they have some real competition from other fuel sources .
None of the candidates are going to take your truck or your guns away .
The whole problem with the way our gov. runs today is the more you donate to thier coffers , the more you'll be heard . There is no say for the little guy anymore , and that goes for both parties. It's the lobbyists that run Washington pure and simple .
On one hand you have the big 3 auto makers saying helps us with the cafe standards , then on the other side you have the environmentalists screamming about carbon pollution from autos . No matter what you are for or against , there are big lobbyists on both sides passing big money to all the Politicians .
It's sad the way thing are now , and will continue to get worse in Washington .
My opinion anyway .
