Hey Fish I love to fish but most of my fishing is down in the Gulf of Mexico.....
Love it when the bull reds are running. ![]() I ran across these trout and redfish that impailed themselves on this chain link fence. ![]() ![]() Here is a 13 lb. bass caught in Mexico at lake El Salto by John Fox, I used to be in the TV business as a cameraman. I shot many a fishing show in my day. ![]()

Much thanks guys...
Hey Euphoria, after a 1 hour battle royal, it was tough enough to hold up the camera :-)
Right on Codiac, so we can relate :-) Well First Toy, although I have lost a handful of Largemouth bass I estimated to be from 15 to 17 lbs, I landed my PB of 18.4, so honestly, I don't think I ever lost a bigger one than I landed. Also landed a Sturgeon of 100" length, 46" girth, chart weight 312 lbs. Don't think I ever hooked a bigger oner of those either. Same for Catfish.... 30.2 lb Channel cat. So, as for "the big one that got away"...... Like I say, I've lost plenty of big ones, but I honestly don't think I have ever lost "the biggest one" of any species I fish for. Just lucky like that I guess :-) Hey Illtake, Ordie, and Ramoine, all of these fish were caught up here in Nor Cal, somewhere between Sacramento, and San Francisco. Ramoine, you said catfish ? Did you mean Sturgeon ? .....anyway, caught those in the Suisun, and Montezuma Sloughs. Hey dbdolan, nice fish ! I fished the Gulf a few times as a kid, with an Uncle.... But I think my biggest Redfish, was smaller than your Speckled trout :-) Thanks again for all your replies :-) Stick a big one ! Fish |
