Oh-yeah... I also have an ill-tempered pointer/healer that provides great home defense.
No need to use the firepower so far...

I've got a Coydog that was breed half collie, half coyote. She would tear an intruder a new one in years past and could jump straight up 6 feet without any problem. She's 14 now so she can only bark to let us know someone's coming. Coydogs have very strong pack instincts and since the family becomes their pack, they'll defend any family member to the death. They're super smart and the best home defense dog I've ever owned.

They say dogs are the best intruder defense there is. I have a half breed dog as well. She is half corgie and half australian shepard and only weighs 30lbs. But I really think she is half badger cuz she can whip a dog twice here size. She can also jump about 6 foot into the air and climb a try like a cat. She rides on the center console of my truck and nobody is gettn in my truck with her on security duty unless they want to lose their face and fingers.

I live in Montana.......what permits and licensing????? Ha ha ha!! We have an open carry law here. As long as the weapon is visible you can wear it in public execpt business that have NO GUN postings or the usual Federal and State government buildings or places that serve alcohol. I have a concealed weapons permit so I wear mine all the time and nobody knows.
