'07 Civic SI from a 40 roll - beat him 2 out of 3 and he got the jump on me once and I barely could reel him in. He woulda beat me probably if we went past 90, but he couldn't catch up on the times I did beat him. From a dig, it was embarassing for him. I had a car length or so on him by 45 mph.

Beat a '94 Dodge with the 5.9l in it. Shoulda beat him a lot worse than I did. He kept up, but I have abotu 2K lbs on him (RCLB vs my DCSB with 112lb grille guard and two coats of Rhino).

Lost to my friends Goat. He is running low 12s, high 11s in that thing. Lots of mods. He hit 140 by the time I hit 85. He left me like I was standing still when he started in 2nd gear from the 40 roll. When he started in 3rd, at like 2500 rpms, I was slightly ahead until 70 when he hit his cams (about 4K or so).

OH and the best one. Beat a 350z convertible off the line to about 55. The best part - he had his gf in the car. I know he was racing because he chirped going into 2nd. Unfortunately, I had to be in his lane to get on the highway so I had to get behind him, but I still beat him by a fender or two.

Have not really raced anybody yet Got another month until I am in the clear with my license, if I get 1 more ticket in the next month the state pulls my license for 6 months, oops. Have not gotten any tickets in this though. Been driving it relatively conservative because of that.

Waiting for the chance to race my gf's dads gto 05', aswell as take it to the strip for a little fun.

Yesterday going out to see Rambo with the girlfriend, go to the light and next to me pulls up a 2006/07 F150 with a lift maybe 3" almost as tall as my Tundra, raked in the back with ROCKSTAR Energy Drink Stickers on it and the stupid Famous "F" all over it and a loud exhaust. Kid is revving all kinds i was just playing it off, but the girlfriend edged me on. I put it in tow/haul diactivate the traction control, light turns green, and well it was funny i think i got across the intersection before he even took off, lol man he would not look at me at all after that.

I ran away from some Hemi- Dodge Ram and he made an illegal left turn to avoid me at the next light.....I was there waiting on him...and I saw his antics from the side view mirror.

Havent raced anybody and need some advice incase I ever do. I have a 2wd SR5 5.7L CM. Do I hold in the trac control button for 3 seconds to turn it off and then turn on tow haul mode? What will give me maximum acceleration? Am I better off just taking off in the automatic or use the "manual" transmission?

You have it on the electronics Syber. The stick ain't that great cuz it doesn't shift right when you slap it into a higher gear. So it's kinda 6 or half dozen on that one. Either way will work good.Go out and find a spot that you can test how everything works best on your truck. That why when the time comes you will know what to do. Street racing can be dangerous and I am in no way condoning this type of behavior...

Here in Boca, along with most of the southern Fl east coast, you get many nice high end cars as almost "common". i.e. Bentleys are a dime a dozen. Last night when I was out getting some mcdonalds there was a black Murcilago, couldnt tell if it LP640 or not, pulling out of a nice restraunt. He crawled underneath my rear bumper at a light ad figured hey he may be a cool rich guy. Had it in first sport and lit the tires up out of the light but he was being prude and casualy got on the highway. Had a few cars before that goin through traffic with me that was good.

But I had more takers when I had my 4runner. Well next weekend when go home I hope to have some fun. Maybe even go to the track.

Ive beaten numberous rams/f150s/silverado's/seirras.

Took out 89 5.0 mustang couple nights back. Went neck and neck w/ a 96 mustang cobra. Destoyed a 02 civic SI...think all he had was a pepboy muffler.

havent had a chance to race a tundra as i dont race on the open street or highways.

Dang! You guys are racing/beating CARS?? I figured we'd only be able to keep up/beat other trucks. I've never raced anyone.

Spanked a few Rams. Mostly Titans though. All the Titan drivers think they are fast!
