Is it me or is today's generation become overly sensitive to everything.*Warning!Rant
So I'm bored and I surf YouTube. I come across this video in the top spots called "to this day project." In short it's an anti bullying video. I don't condone bullying, hell I was picked on a lot in high school. If you watch the video and read some of the comments I think "WHAT THE ****." Today generation is the "participation award generation." Everyone gets a trophy even if your last place because we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Boo fu*king hoo. This is life, life is unfair at times and most everyone gets picked on through out life. The kids now-a-days think the answer is suicide or bring a gun to school. It's pathetic. "I can't take getting picked on". They act like they are the first people in history to be made fun of. Schools have had bullies since the dawn of time. Like I said, I'm not condoning bullying but grow some thicker skin. It's just pathetic what this has come down to with everyone expecting puppy dogs and rainbows. Today's next generation in lack of a better words are becoming a bunch of cry baby pussies! Life can be unfair get over it.

They are a bunch of whiny ass pussies these days. The person that decided there should be a law against beating the shit out of kids is to blame. I didn't whine or bitch growing up cause my mom or dad woulda beat my ass. Now if you even touch your kid, you're wrong. I carried and pushed that baby out my body! It's mine to beat and mold.

Hahaha.my anatomy teacher always rants about "participation rewards" and such.but yes kids these days don't have very thick skin.im 18 so I'm guessing your talking about my generation.but I am not a *****.i have grown up around people who have made me very thick skinned.but kids I go to school with aren't the same.they wine and cry and tell the teachers about anything.someone messing with them and what not.and some kids at my school wouldn't get messed with if they didn't act so weird.like running around chasing random kids trying to hug them and stuff.its weird.a gun is not the answer.kids just need to learn how to dish it out and it comes in.but I think it's cuz most of them socialize over twitter and fb.i don't have a fb or a twitter.thats just what I think but what do I know I'm only 18

I printed this out in Afghanistan and would hand it out when soldiers started to complain and whine. Lol. Fast way to get them to shut up.....well at least to me. I'm busy fixing their trucks in 110+ temps.......

Thanks punch.needless to say I am still paying for it.ive been working since I was 14 saving up money for a truck and used some of my stock show money(showed steers) to pay for it.its nothing like yours but i love it.you got a couple years on me though so I won't complain lol. That's a great picture to lol made me laugh.

And Punch, I agree. My peers from school who started making babies right off the bat, are the ones who have kids in high school now, which are part of the problem. Those of us that waited for a better time to have kids (I.e. financially stable) have kids who are just now starting school. Hopefully our kids won't follow the ridiculous examples that the teens of today are setting But yeah, it takes parenting and spankins. ....and also you have to use the word "no" every once in a while, and if they are doing innadequate work, you have to let them know that isn't good enough, they they have to try their best and work harder to improve.

Bad Dad; Yup, you said it. And def spankings. I got my ass whooped and I turned out to be a sane functioning person who contributes to society. I refused to settle down as a kid or even think about kids. Hell I'm 29 in April and still feel like a kid at heart. I don't want to get married or have kids anytime soon. I do want a another property and a viper for the tundra to pull though. Seems like toys tend be less of a headache then children lol ;-)
I graduated hs about 18 years ago. My oldest kid is in kindergarten. What I'm saying is that my generation is partially responsible, cuz a lot of kids in hs now are the children of my peers. But, my kids aren't going to be like them, and bitch and moan about shit, I'm beating that shit out of their system while they are still young (joke)
