best places to eat in Gatlinburg/ Pegion Forge Tn. area

Hey guys Me and the wife are going to Gatlinburg for our Mardi Gras break (we are both school teachers in south La and we get a week off for Mardi Gras ) and we have only been one time before for our honeymoon two years ago. This time we have vowed to only eat at locally owned restaurants rather than eat at places that we can always eat at around the house.

The AppleBarn is good, the Dixie Stampede, The Hatfield/McCoy restaurant... i'll think of more later

thinks bro, I have been doing some research and we are going to try out the peddler's steak house and the old mill pottery cafe for sure and I am still looking for others to try. We are going to be down there for 5 nights so that good bit of eating lol

If your coming from piegon forge go to gatlinburg, stay on the main road and go through gatlinburg, it will be the last resturant on ur left before you leave town, has parking in the back and I believe a water wheel in front. Cant remember the name but it has a steak marinated in an ale that they make there and is served with worcestershire butter, I ordered it medium. AMAZING!!
