I do like the looks of it alot up to the rear end also. I know it is part of Chevy's new styling to have that rear light set up like what is on the current Camaro. I think more of their new models have the square angular rear tailights. Since this is the Vette, I think they should have kept the rear tailights round.
If Chevy would up their game a little, I wouldn't mine stepping into one given the performance numbers and decent fuel economy their engines claim to return.

Not Mad... disappointed is more like it. I guess I had high hopes that GM wouldn't ruin the Corvette as they did the Camaro. Don't get me wrong there are good things about both cars as far as capabilities and technology but on the styling side GM has failed again.

All I know is that GM should follow Dodge's lead and try to distance the Corvette from the Chevy line like Dodge is trying to do with the Ram. The Corvette is way too nice to have that horrible Chevy affiliation.

I think this corvette is going to slap porsche, audi, ferrari, and maybe even lambo into lowering their prices. These foreign cars need to get back to the basics: a simple 6 speed manual, and a simple button to turn off traction control, thats it. They need to get rid of those dumb paddle shifters and "launch control" setups. The corvette looks just as good as the rest, and its simple.

You ever ridden in one of the vehicles that has those? Holy shit it works...
A buddy of mine has a GTR with race seats. I'm a big guy and didn't fit well into them, but after the launch using launch control I fit just fine...
0-60 in 2.97 at CO altitude.
0-180 in 29.7 seconds.
He let off (I was still feeling acceleration) at 184.
I have ridden in a couple. But i would never pay 100k+ for all of those fancy electronics and computers when i could buy this corvette which base model starts at 48k and goes around the corners just as fast with a simple gear box and a simple on/off traction control.
dont get me wrong, i would pick a new ferrari over this corvette. but as far as the price and how fast it goes, corvette has done a very good job against those italian models.
