Pair of crocks and a pair of sketchers. The kids scored pretty good though.

New dress clothes, a new 2 cell LED Maglight, and one of those really cool emergency knifes with the seat belt cutter on one end, and a glass breaking tip, and a flip out blade.

I kinda don't get as much satisfaction from gifts as I used too... maybe just getting too old... and pretty much having mostly everything i need/want.... mostly, but the stuff i'd really like no one will give as a gift :-P
anyhow, made the wife happy, got her a gold & diamond necklace...
my son is too young to get excited over gifts, but he liked ripping the paper :-)

Exactly. Cuz guys are real particular about stuff...you can't tell your wife "I want a new cordless drill", because we want to spend hours researching stuff and pick out exactly what we need . That's why I bought everything I really wanted, and told my wife I just needed a new pair of shoes, cuz I don't care what kinda shoes I wear. She got a nice watch. For us, its all about the kids, since we pretty much get what we want throughout the year. Oh wait, she got tickets to the outback bowl, so she can watch her alma mater (south carolina) kick michigans ass, since some of her carolina friends are coming down to watch the game. Go COCKS!

My wife bought me lots of things, a big tool box (over five feet tall), three xbox games, some patron tequila, some crystal head vodka, the newest Tom Clancy book, an ereader, two dremel tools (the cutting wheel and the one with all the fine work attachments)

Oh, and a Seven day Caribbean cruise on Oasis of the Seas!!!

Naturally she will be coming with me on the cruise. It was a total surprise, and I'm totally stoked to go.

Like already stated I buy everything I want all year so Christmas is all about giving to me. I spoil my brothers 8 & 10 year old kids because he doesn't make much and can't afford to get them a lot of things. I also buy for the wife. I got her and IPad 3 and a nice case for it. I also got her the Sound Racer V8 for her Dodge Caravan.

This is what she got me.

Zombie targets.

Zombie family for back window of truck.

Carolina Shooters Supply fake supressor barrel shroud for the Saiga 12.

Before

After. It makes it look like a SBR with a suppressor on it. Next is a Center Balance System bullpup kit.

She also got me a nice double rifle case. All I have are singles. It will be nice to be able to tote 2 long guns and only have to carry 1 case. The rifle case and barrel shroud I asked for, the other stuff she got on her own.

I got way too many Christmas gifts, but I can't complain. I have 3 grandchildren whom I'm happy with (almost). One grandson is a junior at ASU and doing great. His sister isn't as smart and has been a problem several years ago, but really has her shit together now and may go to ASU next year after 2 years at CC. My youngest grandson was born slightly autistic and has had the cards stacked against him all his life. His parents separated and divorced, and Barb and I have tried to be a steadying influence on him. He actually graduated from HS and he showed an aptitude for CNC machining in HS til he got caught smoking pot it the bathroom at a trade school. We took the initiative and explored getting into the same sort of course at a CC. We offered to pay half and his dad the other half. His mom can't handle money and still owes over $50k in school loans. I told the other 2 grandkids how proud I am of them in front of him and later told him I'd like to be able to say the same about him someday. I'm surprised how much it affects me to see kids succeed.
That's about all I can take away from this Xmas except my wife is a saint, and is the glue that holds most of the family together.
Sorry to be a bit of a downer, but that's what I took away from Christmas this year.
