So the weather channels are predicting 6" of snow in Oklahoma for Christmas. I am really excited because I can finally get some pics of my truck playing in the snow. And maybe even pulling someone (Ford) out. We are going to go to my wifes parent house for X-mas and thats about a 20 mile trip so it should be fun.

Tulsa weather is saying freezing "pellets" starting in the morning, 12" of snow starting near I40 then decreasing as you go north. According to the map I saw, I am in for anywhere from 8-12" by tomorrow evening.
The FIL is here for Christmas in the morning. He is anxious to get headed back to Eufaula which is around 15 miles south of I40.
I put 360 lbs of Sand bags over the axles on my Tundra just in case.

The ice is definitely here! Drove down a county road (OK 37) between Hinton and Cogar just south of I 40 this morning ... looked like and was a sheet of glass. When I got back to my pickup, about 4 inches of ice had accumulated on the hood and windshield (parked into the wind). Good luck to all that wish to travel in this ... I'm stayin home, had my fill of it this morning.

It's 32F right now and the wind is blowing. That's it so far.
I live about 182 east of Hinton. Went out with the Girl's basketball coach from there when she was college freshman and I was a Sr in HS. I think she is a lesbian. I don't know if if I turned her or not.

DAMN!. My FIL needed his medicine and he stepped out on the back porch and almost went ass over tea kettle. We have a thin sheet of ice on everything. I guess the roads are probably warm enough but I bet the bridges are frozen over. News just said there is not much traffic out. I don't want to do it but I may tell my kids not to come down.
If I still had the rodeo or a Crewmax, I would go get them. I can't put my grand daughters in the bed.

As long as they stay on Major highways I wouldnt see a problem after the Sun comes up. Was icier than shit here if you strayed away from where the roads were salted. Left work and got sideways on a rather large overpass ... scared the piss out of me, was on the phone (handsfree) at the time to one of my better friends, he had to be an ass and tell me that he never expected to hear me scream like a little girl ... prick. Guess my voice went up an octave or two while yellin woah as I was heading for the guard rail ... got it handled though.
