My dads dog was attacked by a black bear today

Dog weighs 75lbs. Vet estimated, by the size of the canine bites to lip (4-5 inches) , that the bear was between 350-450 lbs.
Man what a mess but dog is ok now. She won't be winning any beauty pageants anytime soon.

No, she followed Me as o was checking Trap lines and find a deer carcass that she liked......evidently the bear liked it too.

That is horrible man but glad she is going to be ok. My dog weighs almost twice as much as her and he would not stand a chance against any bear either...not sure any dog would.

Slim, i don't even know how to explain it. She was bit from her throat to her lip with 1 bite. They sewed her lip up the best they could and we will how for the best
