Just adopted a husky from the pound. She is 9 months old, and her name is Denver.

Cute pup. I got my second husky in march of this year, Mya. She has similar markings around her eyes as yours.

Have fun with her, huskies are a blast and love to run.

The only problem with huskies is they like to run away from home. Make sure you have a good fence, they love to dig, so make sure you don't have any place where she can dig a bit and squeeze under.

They do like to do those things. In my experience they dig when bored, I had my first husky off the leash quite a bit. It's all about boundaries with them and keeping an eye on them. Snoop, my first husky went on many runs/pulls as I often rode by skateboard along side of her. I'm not saying she didn't go for an adventure every once in a while but it's all about training with huskies. They are a blast though.
