If it comes from Walmart it is not the exact same Tv. companies make Costco and Walmart specific TV's.......

I am still running a phillips 42" first gen 720i plasma in my living room.
Honestly id buy a plasma i have a few friends with plazmas and they love there tvs. The burn in dont concern me as much as it did maybe 10 years ago. I have 2 lcd televisions now. My oldest being around 7-8 yrs old. Back then plasmas were definitaly a no go. Had alot of luck with lcd. I also liked the fact that you can change the bulbs in them. I changed the bulb in my 60" sony 2yrs ago it was like new all over again 110$ bulb.

I saw an article where that was debunked. See if I can find it
Check model numbers they don't lie! I used to work as a Tv re-pair man. They are not cheaper as much as old technology. When we would go to training they would show how the Costco model and the others were different inside.

I have 2 1080p led's I got last year. I have big windows so plasma is out. Plus they are heavy. New ones are much better than those 2 years old but it is a dying technology like my 720p crt tv
