They did in New Zealand. You can bring any container in and the liquor stores had beer on tap, just fill and pat for how much to take off the tap....awesome way for them to make money and you get fresher beer

For a while, they were selling 8 packs of beer cans. It didn't last too long. They have 6 packs of 16 oz cans which is the same as 8 x 12 oz cans.

They sell it in 32oz and 40oz. Or mini kegs.

I am seriously jealous of those who live where you can buy alcohol in convenience stores. I still remember in college trying to pick some up at a 711 in South Carolina. I was always errand boy because I have always looked like I was 40 even when I was 19 so nobody ever bothered carding me. Some clerk lectured me for 10 minutes about under-age drinking and then sold me a case of Rolling Rock.

Yes you will. Yeungling is only sold on the East Coast. You'll take a trip and not be able to get it.

I've been drinking yeungling for years. Never been able to not get any. I dont travel either, but if I do, I'm sure I can find another darker beer that I can enjoy.

It's the same mentality that packages hotdogs in packs of 8 and buns in packs of 12. WTF?

When I was 17, I looked like I was 12. Went into an asian corner store (that had a reputation for selling to kids)...my first time trying. Walked up with the beer, scared as hell...my worst nightmare starts to unfold...the little old asian lady asked for my ID...I gave her my drivers license with trembling hands (while crapping my pants in fear)...she looked at it, handed it back, took my money and said have a good night! I don't know if she was bad at math or just didn't care...either way, I got to play hero at the party!

It's extra funny because of how mild bud light is. That stuff is reserved for when you are doing work on the truck, that way you are coherent enough to not make mistakes. I grew up on bud light but I normally drank the 24oz cans(4 for $5) and never the "fun size" ones. That's the appetizer of beers.

I normally don't drink bud light, there's a story behind why I was drinking it in the first place....

My buddy works for bud light. I was hanging out with him and he was (obviously) drinking bud light. I was out of beer, and the sun wasn't down yet so I didn't want to start on the vodka. I bummed a few bud lights from him. Then I went to the store to get a case, to pay him back. I gave him 12, and I started working on the other 12. The next day, there were only a few left. After I killed them, I needed more. I don't like changing beers mid-buzz, so I had my sober driver take me to the gas station so I could get more bud lights and finish myself off. That is how this whole thing started...

Really, I'll drink anything...PBR, natural light, miller light, coors light, yeungling, shock top, blue moon...whatever I'm in the mood for. Never really could get into bud light, even though I've drank it a few times. But the mini-cans pissed me off, so I will never buy bl again, even though it was my own damn fault in the first place

I like your reasoning. I try not to change beers during the day too, always has weird effects if I do.
I live about 5 miles from the Budweiser plant.
