Don't laugh. That was my first truck that I bought. That hard bed cap sucked to take off, but looked SUITE!! Had it for 3 years and put like 50,000 miles on her. She was a really good, dependable hard working girl. Finally traded her because I needed something bigger. Didn't even realize till I looked at the pics, my new one is the same color. Go figure?!

Do not mention his name here. He spits on us and talks crap and you're directing people to him from our site? I don't think so. I know you're neutral and that's fine, but please do not mention him here.

I caught this ocean sunfish offshore yesterday out of Dana Point, CA. We were about 11 miles out on a kelp paddy. Hooked this drifting a chrome/blue K.O. Wobbler on a light Shimano baitcasting rod with a Shimano Corsair 400 baitcasting reel spooled w/ 8lb test monofilament... essentially a largemouth bass setup. Took about 20 minutes to get to the boat. A lot of fun. It's not unheard of to find 2 ton specimens of this fish.
Here's what it did to my rod:
Here's my nephew's 20' Sea Ox CC with an Evinrude E-Tec 175. That little boat was running at 32mph at (almost) WOT on 2' seas!:
We ran somewhere between 50-60 miles trolling/looking for kelp paddies holding fish. The sword boats were out and marlin were in the area as well.
The damn dolphins gave us a Sea World show, jumping and cavorting in the wake. One was breaching in the bow wave and pulling a 'Shamu splash' on its side soaking the boat. Hilarious.
Beautiful 10 hour day on the water.
