We previously had a 94 silverado, a couple of f150's, and a dodge. We have a 2 horse trailer we pull, and we just bought a small pop up camper that we are preparing to use in a month or so. I am pushing 50 years old, and have never had a brand new truck, they were always my utility vehicles, so I never had a very fancy or new one until now. It has been a long time coming, and we plan on keeping it a long time. We always seem to be naming our vehicles , and since our new truck is the Toyota color known as pyrite myca, the truck has been christened "Pirate Mike", the kids are calling me "piratemikesdad" . Anyway, we plan on getting a spray on bedliner and nerf bars soon, and were wondering if anyone had any suggestions for other accessories they really like, that might add to the appearance, comfort, or performance of our truck.
Other than that, I just wanted to say hello, and say thanks to the forum, I visited it a many times during our search for new truck info. Thanks!

Howdy
Climbed on the Toyota bandwagon 10 yrs.ago when they introduced this truck called a "Tundra" ,well 185,000 miles later and I still wouldn't trade for a new domestic. Only mods are set of ss headers and new 2 1/2 ss exhaust,,also replaced my cats. and o2 sensors while I was at it. Wow, what a difference, should have done this 10 yrs ago.
OK enough of that ,ya they are great trucks we all know that but I do have a problem.
3 days before Xmas and my transmission cooler came apart in my radiator and in a span of 4 miles filled my eng. with tranny fluid and tranny with anti-freeze. Well its 1 month later and eng is fine. transmission has been out 3 times now and still has a 2-3 shift problem, like 1/2 sec pause then BANG .1-2 great,,3-4 great,,2-3 bad. has no codes
never did this prior to radiator comming apart.. any and all helpfull ideas welcome
