New guy from Louisiana
I just bought (two weeks ago) a new 08 Tundra Crewmax Limited 4X4, and I absolutely love it. I have always been a GM enthusiast, but they have disappointed me in the recent years. This is my first Toyota, and my only gripe is the fuel mileage. I guess i should've expected that with the truck I bought though.

I'm getting an average of 14.3 mpg, but I just broke 1300 miles yesterday with most of that being interstate miles. I hope it will get better after about 5000 miles. What about you?

I'm just a member of the forum.....I still havent sold my 02 Taco. I'm here lurking and searching for info on the Tundra. Being a member of TTORA, I found that by using the search and doing alot of reading you can find the truth in some post. You can weed thru the Mega Biased post and Troll type post and find hard core fact.
I was a member of TTORA for 2 years researching suspension info for my Taco before I made my "lift" purchase....I dont plan to wait that long before I make my actual Tundra purchase, LOL. I do see that the rebates here in Ohio "current residence" and also in my zip code area in La. have ended, so I'm not in too big of a hurry to buy. I hope your mileage does get better, if I can expect 16-17 out of a CM 4x4 then all will be good. Time will tell and please keep us updated. Sorry for the ramble..... |
